I grew up surrounded by martial artists and my first encounter was with Taekwondo at the age of 2 or 3. Our neigbour was a black-belt in Taekwondo and he was chopping his firewood with his legs and arms. That left a deep impression and so I fell in love with Asian martial arts. At the age of 14 I started studying Taekwondo under Sandi Bilas. I stopped after my first examination because I had to have a very complicated and important spinal surgery. In the Year 2004 I met my first Qigong and Tai Chi Teacher, Ping Han. I studied intensively with her for 1 Year. She was humble and intense, devoted to ancient Chinese healing arts and very skilled. After that I constantly deepened my understanding and my practice of Daoyin Yangsheng Gong and Tai Chi Zhang. He left the monastery in the beginning of 2009 when I was officially moving to Thailand. In 2009 he's received certification and permission to teach from Ping Han and my teachers at the monastery. Since then he has been meeting different teachers in Thailand such as Sifu Gerald Tur, Sifu Ludovic and Sifu Adam Mizner. I am studying constantly to improve my skills and the quality of my teachings. In my life there are only two important things - to learn and to teach. This is what makes life worthwhile.
"Qigong (actually Daoyin) is so much more then just smooth and elegant movements. It is more then physiotherapy or advanced healing magic. The more I learn about Daoyin, the more I am left without words. On the path of Qigong I am but a student, nothing more."
